CHETTON CLASS - IMPORTANT NEWS

Sadly with not enough regulars attending this class, unless the situation changes by the end of October, I will have to close this class. The regulars that I have spoken to so far will transfer to the Ditton Priors class, and I hope that if this is the case all those still wishing to dance will be able to do the same. I have suggested that the Ditton Priors class from 7pm until 8.30pm will be an ideal time, although those few that may prefer a more Absolute Beginner level are welcome to join the 6.30pm class for slightly easier dances (I will also at this point do an advert again for any new AB's).

NEW ABSOLUTE BEGINNER BASICS COURSES

As the current Absolute Beginner classes are well under way, in order to help any newcomers who wish to join us feel at ease I am about to introduce Absolute Beginner basics courses, this is a unique program designed by Nuline Dance to teach newcomers the basic steps and rhythms used, and how to understand calls and the idea of dancing to more than 1 wall. The first course will run for 6 weeks at Ditton Priors village hall from Tuesday 6th September - 6.30pm until 7.00pm, at a cost of £15 for those that wish to pay on the first night for the complete course, or £4 payable weekly which is our standard class charge. Bookings can now be taken for the first course by contacting me via phone or e-mail, or providing there is enough space available by turning up on the night. I am also taking names for anyone interested in a course run at Chetton Village Hall, although date is still to be decided on this one. The Bridgnorth class is a fairly low level class so newcomers should be able to attend the current class and feel at ease, but contact me also if you would prefer a course at this venue too, and if sufficient numbers I will do the same there.

CLASS PRICES

After a long deal of thought, I have decided to increase the class fee by 50p to £4.00, as from June 1st 2011. I have kept the same price since starting the classes in the area nearly 3 years ago despite having hall rent fees increased and other rises, and most dance/fitness based activities in the area are charging £4.00 and upwards, so it will bring it in line with some of those. But as a handful come to two classes a week, and others have mentioned that they may like to do the same, I have decided in order to try and encourage more to do the same that there will be a one off payment of £4.00 for the week, so if you attend the Ditton Priors class on Tuesday for instance, you're welcome to come along on Thursday to the Chetton class at no extra charge that week (pay for the first class that you attend in the week, all other classes that week will be FREE of charge).

POSSIBLE NEW CLASS AT FARLOW & ORETON VILLAGE HALL.

There will be a second attempt at trying to get enough interest in a class at this venue on Monday 6th June, 7pm till 8.30pm. I need approximately 15 people attending for a full time class to go ahead, so if you'd like to have a try at Nuline Dance and you live in the area, this is your chance to get a class near to you. The 5 that came to the first taster really enjoyed it.

DAFFODIL DAY DANCE.

During March we will be raising money for the Marie Curie Cance Care charity, and will pick a week where we will be wearing something yellow and I'll be asking people to make a donation for the charity. I've also have daffodil day pins on sale througout the month.

Nuline Dance comes to BRIDGNORTH.

GREAT NEWS - I have now managed to get a daytime class in Bridgnorth, commencing 2nd March I will be at Low Town Community Hall every Wednesday 11.30am till 12.30pm. So whether people are looking for a dance class that teaches all different dance genres all in one, or a low impact workout to help them keep fit, or just a social activity to make new friends, this is ideal!

Nuline Dance comes to Ditton Priors & Chetton.

Come and learn Nuline dance in the Bridgnorth area, two new AB classes starting in both venues, and hopefully providing I can get a venue there will be
classes coming to Bridgnorth too soon. If anyone knows a venue in the town that would like to hold one of these classes please contact me to discuss it further.
